The Pittsburgh Steelers have traded the 51st pick to the Buffalo Bills

Bills/Steelers mock trade

R2:51 - Troy Franklin - Wide receiver, Oregon

Giving up three draft picks to move up nine spots in the second round seems rather steep; however, considering the Bills still have picks 128, 160, 163, and 204, this deal seems like a no-brainer for the opportunity to grab Oregon receiver Troy Franklin. He was crazy productive over the last two seasons, totaling over 2.274 yards, 142 receptions, and an outstanding 23 touchdowns.

Franklin had a solid combine, posting an official 40-time of 4.41 and a vertical of nearly 40 inches. His ten-yard split wasn't great, coming in with a time of 1.61. This measures how quickly the player covers the first ten yards of their 40-yard dash, which is a concern with Franklin; however, you can't argue the production. Some guys are good at what they do, and straight-line speed isn't everything in the NFL.
