In just a couple of hours, the Buffalo Bills will be taking the field to take on the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football. The Bills look like the best team in football while the Ravens have started surprisingly slow this season. This is the first of three consecutive away games for the Bills so they will be truly battle tested starting tonight.

While Buffalo has been dealing with injuries every single week, there wasn’t much change from last week to this week. They will still be without cornerback Taron Johnson and linebacker Terrel Bernard, but there is hope that they will be returning very soon. Aside from rookie offensive lineman Tylan Grable landing on the IR, the Bills head into Sunday night as healthy as possible.

For the Ravens, they have some gametime decisions for multiple spots on their offensive line but now they may end up losing a key piece to their defense. Defensive tackle Michael Pierce was downgraded to doubtful with a shoulder injury.

The Bills are in the middle of the pack when it comes to the rushing attack, but they have been effective doing so. Between James Cook, Ray Davis, and a little bit of Josh Allen, Buffalo has been able to establish the run to set themselves up for the pass.

The Ravens’ run defense has been solid through three games, giving up no more than 72 rushing yards in a game. However, losing Pierce could heavily affect them against the Bills. Baltimore already has one of the worst pass defensive units coming into this game. If Buffalo can control the clock on the ground and run all over the Ravens, it will just make life more difficult for Baltimore.

The final inactive list will come out 90 minutes prior to kickoff and the Ravens may lose a great amount of key pieces on both sides of the ball, including Pierce.
