Coming into Monday night, the Buffalo Bills were 10-9 all time against Jacksonville. Josh Allen was 1-2 in his career against the Jags. Today all of that seems very misleading. Give credit to whoever you want, that was an absolute clinic the Bills put on Monday night. There was a little bit of everything. Josh Allen threw four first half touchdowns. James Cook had a rushing touchdown. Keon Coleman scored his first touchdown as a Bill and Damar Hamlin got his first career interception.

Josh Allen notched his eleventh game with four TD passes setting a team record and passing Hall of Famer Jim Kelly in the process. “Everybody eats” is exactly what this team is doing. Ten players caught a pass from Josh Allen in Monday’s rout. James Cook and Allen also combined for 83 yards rushing. Everything that needed to work for Buffalo, worked, to sheer perfection.

Josh Allen now has 230 touchdowns (passing, rushing and receiving) which is only one behind Patrick Mahomes for most by a player in his first seven NFL seasons. The offense is getting all the shine from this win. Von Miller had a sack which moves him into a tie for 17th place with 126.5 sacks all-time with Derrick Thomas. The Jags could only muster 70 yards, five first downs and three points in the first half. Whatever defensive coordinator Bobby Babich is cooking up, it’s working.

The flip side of the coin is the Jaguars are coming apart at the seams. Trevor Lawarence doesn’t look like a $275 million quarterback. The team can’t get out of its own way, and there were problems with their flight out of Buffalo Monday night to just make a bad night even worse. Week 4 is going to see Jacksonville look to find some kind of direction, and the Bills get a Sunday night showdown with Baltimore.

The Bills are doing things great teams do. Not turning the ball over and make the most out of their opportunities to score points. They have scored 30 points in three straight games to start this season. Next Sunday night in Baltimore is going to be a great test to see where this team is. Derrick Henry ran wild on Dallas in Week 3, and Lamar Jackson is a two-time NFL MVP.

Baltimore may have stumbled out of the gate this season but they are definitely a team that can right the ship in a hurry. The Bills have a lot to prepare for in Week 4 but a lot to be happy with from Week 3. Josh Allen is now the odds-on favorite to win MVP this season and after Monday, he deserves it.
