Bills LT Dion Dawkins blasts New York Jets players defending Josh Allen

Across all sports in the world, teammates on the same may have issues with each other that may not be public. However, when it is game time and you have to have their back, it is important to always stick up for your teammates. Tension rises throughout games where a simple routine play can cause frustration which can then lead into pushing and shoving, sometimes into a full on fight. Throughout the NFL we see a great amount of tension between two teams. Whether it involves rotational players or even star players.
However, there are rare occasions when a player from one team seems to have a problem with a great amount of players on a different team. That occasion applies to Buffalo Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins and his problems he has with the New York Jets players. Going back to last season, Dawkins has been vocal about how he feels about the Jets as a whole team and in a recent interview with Kay Adams, Dawkins is still not showing any love towards some Jets players.

Dawkins went on to explain that he does not have any issues with the Jets as a whole organization, but with some players who may not be well-known across the league that have talked trash about Allen. Trash talking is always going to be apart of the game no matter what, but it looks like Dawkins has a serious problem with some “no-name” players talking smack.
Bills fans should love this mentality by Dawkins
The only way for a team to have any kind of success is by having a star quarterback. The Bills have that in Josh Allen and it is important to have the best protection around him. Not just when it comes to plays, but also when tension rises on the field. Dawkins has proven that he will always look out for Allen and make sure that no one is chirping at him. When the Bills and Jets meet twice this season, it is going to be a physical matchup between two teams that can play great defensive football. However, the Buffalo offensive line will be tested once again against this ferocious Jets defensive line.
Don’t think that the Jets won’t see this clip of Dawkins. This could easily be used as motivation to put constant pressure on Allen through the left side.
