The AFC East has been home to some of the best wide receivers in NFL history like Buffalo Bills' Andre Reed and Terrell Owens, New England Patriots' Randy Moss, and Indianapolis Colts' Marvin Harrison (when the Colts were in the AFC East).

This season is no different as there are some of the top wide receivers currently in the game today residing in the AFC East. However, in a league that has become pass-heavy, it is not only important to have that top wide receiver but also depth at the position. Let's rank each wide receiver room in the AFC East from worst to best.

4) New England Patriots

Devante Parker, Juju Smith-Schuster, Kendrick Bourne, Tyquan Thornton, Kayshon Boutte

Entering this season, there probably isn't much debate about where the New England Patriots wide receivers are ranked. The Patriots made a number of moves this offseason from signing Juju Smith-Schuster in free agency and then extending DeVante Parker.

In addition to those two, Kendrick Bourne and Tyquan Thornton are expected to be factors in what is hopefully an improved offense with Bill O'Brien calling plays. While the Patriots have depth, they are missing that top wide receiver like Garrett Wilson, Stefon Diggs, or Tyreek Hill.

The lack of that true number one wide receiver keeps them at number four in the AFC East.
