3. Miami Dolphins

Xavien Howard, Eli Apple, Noah Igbinoghene, Kader Kohou, Cam Smith

At the start of training camp, the Miami Dolphins would have been much higher on this list because it was expected that Xavien Howard and Jalen Ramsey would be their starting cornerbacks. Unfortunately, Ramsey suffered a knee injury early in training camp that is going to force him to miss at least a portion of the season, however the number of games seems to be up for debate.

This group is still led by Xavien Howard, who has made the Pro Bowl three straight seasons. While he is still a good cornerback he is not the elite cornerback anymore after seeing his numbers decrease over the past three years. He went from 10 interceptions in 2020 and a QB rating allowed of 48.7 to only one interception and a QB rating allowed of 101.2 this past season.

The rest of the position has to be a concern for the Dolphins as well with Noah Igbinoghene not developing as the team would have hoped and Eli Apple, who they signed after Ramsey's injury, more of a depth player than a starter.
