Dorance Armstrong

This is a player I would love for the Bills to pick up in free agency, not only because he could get for cheap, but he was a part of a crowded defensive line in Dallas headlined by Micah Parsons. Armstrong's stats are comparable to A.J. Epenesa (41.6% snap share, 7.5 sacks, 38 tackles in 17 games ).

He signed a 2 year $12 million contract with Dallas (per Spotrac), and I can see him getting a 1 year deal with Buffalo for about the same AAV, maybe cheaper (around $4-5 Million) depending on how the free agent market shakes out with defensive linemen.

Darnell Savage

With the release of Jordan Poyer and Siran Neal, along with the implied retirement of Micah Hyde, the only safeties under contract before Taylor Rapp re-signed to the Bills were Damar Hamlin and Kendall Williamson. I fully expect the Bills to draft a Safety in the draft, but they also need a starter opposite Rapp, and a good option would be Darnell Savage.

The Bills are no strangers at poaching defensive backs from Green Bay, with signing Micah Hyde in 2017 and this past season, the Bills traded for Rasul Douglas from the Packers as well. They might get aggressive and sign Savage as well.

I feel he would be a fit in the Free Safety role, which would move Rapp to more of that Strong Safety role, which Rapp was known for fitting better back when he was on the Rams. He might be a little more expensive in terms of safeties, but with his time as a starter and the familiarity with Douglas in a room of defensive backs that lost a lot of experience could benefit the Bills this year.
