Brian Allen

With the departure of Mitch Morse, the trade of Ryan Bates to the Bears, and the team moving Connor McGovern to C, there are some concerns with the Bills OL depth. The unit was great this past year in year 2 of offensive line coach Aaron Kromer, and not just great play but also having one of the healthiest units in 2023 with all 5 starters playing every game.

That is pretty lucky, and I don't expect this unit in 2024 to be as healthy. So with that, an option that would fit with this scheme and more importantly Aaron Kromer is Brian Allen from the Rams. He has versatility at both left and right guard but also center. Along with how well he fits because of the familiarity with Kromer, he is also a cheap option in free agency.

DaQuan Jones

With all of the moves that freed up a ton of cap space, many were wondering if the Bills could afford to bring back Daquan Jones. After all of those moves, I feel confident that they could easily bring DaQuan back for another season.

With how well he and Ed Oliver played before he went down in week 5 against the Jaguars, it's safe to say he was on pace for an All-Pro season. Bringing back Daquan who would be fully healthy in 2024 would be a huge relief for the Bills, considering they only have two interior defensive linemen under contract for this year (Ed Oliver, Eli Ankou).

I expect them to also draft another IDL within the 1st 2 days of the draft, but I wouldn't fully be confident in a rookie filling the shoes of a starter, let alone the shoes of DaQuan Jones.
