D'Onta Foreman

The Buffalo Bills have three running backs from last year's team set to be free agents in Ty Johnson, Latavius Murray, and Damien Harris. This leaves the only other players at the position under contract to be James Cook, Nyheim Hines, and Darrynton Evans.

While Cook is the clear lead running back, the rest of the position has questions as Hines is hopefully ready to return from a knee injury last summer and Evans was released prior to the season last year. The Buffalo Bills could use a bigger running back that can run between the tackles as well as near the goal line.

D'Onta Foreman is a running back that makes a lot of sense for this role, who has primarily been a backup running back. After a breakout season in 2022 with the Panthers, he spent last year with the Chicago Bears where he had only 109 rushing attempts for 425 yards in nine games.

He is not a running back that will provide much in the passing game with only 34 career receptions but he definitely would give the position some size at 235 pounds and complement Cook well.
