Tim Settle

The Buffalo Bills would keep DaQuan Jones out of this game and Tim Settle would get the start next to Ed Oliver at defensive tackle. It was certainly a promising start to the season after what would be considered a disappointing year in his first year with the Bills last year.

He not only would show off the pass rush ability, as he had a sack in the game but was stout against the run game making key stops on the interior of the field. Tim Settle not only has secured a spot on the 53-man roster but made a case to be a key part of the rotation.

Boogie Basham

Another player on the defensive line that needed to get off to a fast start this season was Boogie Basham. He certainly did that with three tackles and one sack and similar to Tim Settle not only was effective rushing the passer but against the run by setting the edge.

The Buffalo Bills have some great depth at defensive end so one positive performance this season might not be enough for Basham to keep a spot on the 53-man roster but he certainly helped his chances against the Colts.
