Christian Benford
Mike Evans is a matchup nightmare for most cornerbacks in the NFL because he is one of the biggest in the league at 6'5" and uses that size to his advantage. However, the Bills were able to limit him to only three catches for 39 yards and a touchdown that bounced their way after the pass hit off Christian Benford's helmet.
While Benford was in coverage on that touchdown, the second-year cornerback played great football in this game against the Bucs. He broke up a pass in the end zone before that touchdown and almost had an interception along the sideline later in the game.
Entering this game, the Bucs wide receivers on paper looked to have a clear advantage over the Buffalo Bills cornerbacks. However, for most of the game they were able to get the job done and held Baker Mayfield to only 237 passing yards and he needed 42 attempts to reach that total.
