After a deflating loss against the New England Patriots, the Buffalo Bills were able to bounce back in a big way and get a 24-18 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The final score was not necessarily reflective of the game itself as the Bills seemed to be in control for most of the game building both a 10-point lead in the second quarter and then a 14 point lead in the third quarter.
One of the reasons for the success was the Buffalo Bills got some big performances from players outside of their stars like Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, and Jordan Poyer. These are six players who impressed in Week 8 for the Buffalo Bills.
6 Buffalo Bills who stood out in Week 8 against the Bucs
The rookie tight end has now had two great games in consecutive weeks. In the game against the Patriots, he would lead the team in receptions and receiving yards and followed up in this game with his first career touchdown while catching five of his seven targets for 65 yards.
It was announced before the game that Dawson Knox would be placed on injured reserve due to a wrist injury that required surgery. The Bills needed their first round pick to step up and he has certainly done that and it is hard to imagine he doesn't remain ahead of Dawson Knox on the depth chart even after the veteran returns.
