6 Buffalo Bills who deserve to be in the 2024 Pro Bowl
Ed Oliver
Without question, one of the most improved players this season has been defensive tackle Ed Oliver. The Bills agreed to a contract extension with Oliver before the season and it is a move that looks like it is going to end up being a bargain in the near future, if it isn't already.
Oliver has started all 11 games this season and has 40 total tackles (three short of his career-high), 11 tackles for a loss (already a career high), 11 QB hits (three short of his career-high), and six sacks (already a career-high).
Even without DaQuan Jones since Week 5, Oliver has been a force on the interior of the defensive line and making big plays when needed. A great example of this was late against the Philadelphia Eagles when Jalen Hurts tried a QB draw as it looked like the linebackers were dropping back. However, Oliver instead of trying to get into the backfield, hesitated and slid to his right to stop Hurts for a minimal gain.
Ed Oliver has not made a Pro Bowl yet in his career but he has certainly played at that level this year.
