2.) Arizona Cardinals

To start out the 2023 season, the Cardinals were in for a rough season because of not having Kyler Murray for over half the season and with a head coach in Jonathan Gannon. There is no doubt that the Cardinals had their growing pains last year on defense.

They could not stop the run, allowing over 140 yards on the ground per game and finished near the bottom of the league with just 33 sacks. Arizona’s front office went out and addressed their pressing needs by getting veteran defensive tackles Bilal Nichols and Justin Jones to plug up the middle. They would also draft defensive ends Darius Robinson and Xavier Thomas to try and boost their pass rush.

However, nothing matters until it works on the field so the Cardinals will have a challenge stopping the Bills’ rushing attack which includes their franchise quarterback. These two teams will meet in Week 1 in Buffalo to kick off the 2024 season.
