Wide Receiver

The final position is one that looked like might be addressed early in the past NFL Draft but after four wide receivers were drafted in consecutive picks right before the Buffalo Bills, they seemed to pivot and take the best tight end in this year's draft by selecting Dalton Kincaid.

The wide receiver position next offseason looks to be an even more pressing need as Gabe Davis is set to be a free agent, Trent Sherfield is only on a one-year contract, and Deonte Harty could be a cut candidate based on his contract. On top of that, Stefon Diggs has to be a question mark after how this offseason has played out.

The Bills top wide receiver was not going to be traded this offseason because of his contract but it becomes a slightly greater possibility next offseason. If the year doesn't go as well as Stefon Diggs might hope, a potential trade demand could be on the table.

If that does transpire, the wide receiver becomes probably the biggest need for the Buffalo Bills and one they should address early. This could change over roughly the next calendar year depending on the season and the moves they make before the 2024 NFL Draft, but these are five positions the scouting department is going to be paying close attention to this fall.
