Kaiir Elam
In what was supposed to be a pivotal season for Kaiir Elam, it has been nothing short of disaterous for the former first round pick. Elam wouldn't be able to secure the starting job coming out of training camp and would be past by not only Christian Benford but also Dane Jackson.
Elam has been a healthy scratch for most of the season but got a chance to start in Week 5 and Week 6 after Tre'Davious White's season-ending injury. However, on the field he struggled and he would end up on injured reserve due to an ankle injury and hasn't been active for a game since Week 7.
After Benford's injury, Elam would come on to the field and on the first drive for him would be called for pass interference. It wasn't necessarily close as he clearly was tugging on the receivers back as he ran by him.
However, Elam showed good resiliency as he would end up coming away with an interception in the end zone a few plays later. He would finish the game with five tackles, one pass defended and almost had a second interception later in the game.
The Buffalo Bills hopefully will get Rasul Douglas or Christian Benford, or both, ahead of next week's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
