5 under-the-radar players for Buffalo Bills in Week 5 against Jaguars
A.J. Epenesa
The Buffalo Bills are going to want to get pressure on Trevor Lawrence as he is too talented to let him just sit in the pocket and make throws. Unfortunately, the Bills have already ruled out their top pass rusher to begin the season as Greg Rousseau is out with a foot injury.
The good news is that there is a chance that Von Miller returns for this game after he began the season on the PUP list. However, the coaching staff is probably going to be pretty cautious with him and not give him a full workload.
This means that the defense is going to need a pass rusher to step into that top role and this could be a great chance for A.J. Epenesa have a big game. The former second round pick has looked good at times this season and made some big plays, like a pick six against the Washington Commanders in Week 3.
He would also have his first sack of the season against the Commanders but has been relatively quiet in terms of rushing the passer the other games this year. This might be the most snaps A.J. Epenesa gets all season and the Bills defense are going to need a big game from him.
