5.) Jordan Phillips

The New England Patriots have a big history of running the ball and stopping the run. This season is no different, seeing as how quarterback Mac Jones is on a short leash and part of the reason as to why New England is 1-5.

The Patriots are averaging 83 yards rushing on the ground through 6 games, only having one 100+ rushing yard game on the season. Running back Rhamondre Stevenson, who has taken a step back so far compared to last year, has rushed 78 times for 234 yards and 2 touchdowns. New England has rushed for only 3 touchdowns on the season.

The Bills’ defensive line is in for a great matchup, seeing as how the offensive line for New England looks to be in shambles this season and someone like Jordan Phillips can help stop the run and force Mac Jones to drop back in the pocket.

Phillips currently has 7 total tackles on the season, one of them for a loss. He will need to make an impact within the rotation in helping solidify the run-stop defense and create interior pressure to make Jones uncomfortable.
