Will James Cook have a breakout game for the Buffalo Bills

Cook had 12 carries against the Jets for 46 yards, just under four yards a carry. He was also targeted six times, with four receptions but only 17 yards. Getting Cook in space with the ball should result in better production but the Jets did a fantastic job getting him on the ground and not letting him pick up any yards after the catch.

The Raiders allowed 93 rushing yards to Javonte Williams and Samaje Perine, good for 4.4 yards per carry. I think Cook can have a breakout game this week. I'm not saying he needs to get more carries or targets. but just do more with the opportunities, which I think he will. Anything between 16 to 20 a game would be great.

I'm not advocating for more runs either. The Bills are a pass-first team, as they should be with Josh Allen but we need to see more efficiency in the run game when the team does run the ball. I think that begins this week.
