Dallas Cowboys

When a big name player becomes available, the Dallas Cowboys can't be discounted with Jerry Jones leading the franchise. He has shown he is willing to make the necessary moves to field a competitive team, even though those moves don't always work out.

The Cowboys this offseason did add to their wide receiver group with the trade for Brandin Cooks and he will be paired with CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup which gives Dak Prescott enough weapons at the position. However, adding DeAndre Hopkins undoubtedly improves the position and would take more pressure off Lamb.

Another selling point for the Dallas Cowboys is that it would give DeAndre Hopkins a chance to return to the state of Texas. He played seven seasons in that state with the Houston Texans and if he wants to return to Texas, then the Cowboys are the best team for that to happen as they are much closer to competing than the Texans.
