4.) The offensive line was the best unit

To go along with establishing the run game with Cook, the Bills also managed to put together the best offensive line that Allen has ever had in NFL career. When it came to the protection of their franchise quarterback, Allen was sacked just 24 times which is the lowest he has been sacked in his career.

Since Week 10, they helped the Bills rush for 100+ yards in every game up until the divisional round. The biggest factor in why they were successful was because each starting member of the line was healthy throughout the season.

Last offseason, the Bills needed to improve the interior part of the offensive line and they did by bringing in two new starters in Connor McGovern and drafting standout guard O’Cyrus Torrence. In addition, offensive tackles Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown had a bounce back season from last year which helped protect the outside of the pocket.
