Tyler Nubin - Minnesota

Tyler Nubin is a 6'2, 210-pound safety from Minnesota. Reading through multiple scouting reports on Nubin made one thing very clear. He's a smart and highly instinctive player, with terrific playmaking skills. He excels in pass coverage, especially in zone, but is also very good against the run. Nubin is a day-one starter and if the Bills want him, they'll likely need to select him with their first pick or could trade back to the start of the second round and get him there.

NFLDrafbuzz.com has him projected as a late first-rounder and rates him an 87.3. He is their sixth ranked defensive back and top safety, and the 29th overall prospect in the draft. Pro Football Focus graded him an 89.2, ranked him as their top safety as well, and 32nd overall draft prospect. Nubin would be a solid pick at 28. The pick will come down to who is available when the Bills pick at 28. I think Nubin will be an option, but will the Bills target a different position?
