5.) Competition brings out the best
One of the reasons for training camp to take place is to see the growth in players and compete with each other. Sean McDermott expects the best from all of his players and it is up to him and his staff to decide who will not only be on the roster but who will be starting on all three phases of the game. This roster will have a good amount of competition at various positions that fans should keep an eye on.
Some of the positions where there will be true competition will be for wide receiver at the slot position, running back to see who can take the run game off of Josh Allen’s responsibilities, offensive line to protect Allen, and the linebacker spot to see who will replace Tremaine Edmunds.
The Bills will see new starters this season, and have a rotation going on both sides of the ball at different positions. When the pads are on for the Bills in training camp, the competition begins to see who will be a starting asset for the team.
