2) Safety

It has been awhile since the Buffalo Bills have had concerns at safety as Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer have been a cornerstone of this defense since 2017. However, Hyde is set to be a free agent as well as backup Taylor Rapp.

This leaves only Jordan Poyer and Damar Hamlin as the only safeties under contract. The Bills certainly could keep this duo for the upcoming season as they were able to get the job done in 2022 after Hyde suffered a season-ending neck injury.

However, Poyer is also getting towards the end of his career and the Bills may elect to release him to clear some cap. It would give them a fresh start at the position and hope they get another seven years of quality play at the position.
