Mike Edwards (S)

After four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Mike Edwards signed with the Kansas City Chiefs this offseason on a one-year deal. He started the season as a backup but started the final five regular season games and all three playoff games (although he played only two snaps against the Buffalo Bills).

Edwards has made some big plays for the Chiefs down the stretch with a fumble returned for a touchdown in the regular season finale against the Chargers. The Chiefs were resting a majority of their starters but that touchdown was the only one scored in a game that ended 13-12.

In the playoffs, Edwards once again made an impact with an interception in the Wild Card round against the Dolphins. The Bills are going to be doing a lot of research on safeties this offseason and Edwards is one that should be in the discussion as a bargain veteran that could be a starter.
