3.) Jordan Phillips - Defensive Tackle

A fan favorite for the Bills, Phillips first signed with the team in 2018 but really shined in 2019 with 9.5 sacks. After 2019, Phillips signed with the Arizona Cardinals in 2020 but failed to play in double digit games in each season with them. In the 2022 offseason, the Bills brought back Phillips in hopes that he could bring stability to the defensive line.

Unfortunately, Phillips was unavailable for four games and only recorded 20 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

This off-season the Bills brought back Phillips on another one-year deal, but is he lock for the roster? The team has Ed Oliver and DaQuan Jones (who could be the team’s starters up front) along with Tim Settle and Poona Ford who are in Buffalo for atleast this season as well.

Entering training camp, Phillips will have to prove that if the Bills decide to bring him to the active roster, he will be available and be able to produce like he did in 2019. It is more so availability throughout training camp that will determine if Phillips will be with the Bills prior to week one.
