4.) Latavius Murray - Running Back
The Bills signed running back Latavius Murray this off-season after they already brought in Damien Harris from the New England Patriots. Like Harris, Murray was signed to a one-year deal and will have the opportunity to compete in training camp. Murray has been a journeyman in the league, having played for the Raiders, Vikings, Saints, Ravens and Broncos.
As he makes his stop in Buffalo, he is close to home where he grew up outside of Syracuse, in the Onondaga area. At 33 years old, he brings a good amount of veteran presence to this backfield that has young backs.
However, Murray might have to prove his worth with his work in between the tackles on carries. Cook has a high ceiling and his career is just getting started, and Harris is two years removed from a career year with over 1,000 rushing yards and double digit touchdowns on the ground.
Murray will have an uphill battle in training camp, but if the Bills decide to bring on the three running backs for week one, Murray has a good chance to suit up for the Bills.
