5 players who are off to a great start at Buffalo Bills training camp

3.) Ed Oliver - Defensive Tackle
The Bills’ new future at the defensive tackle has been getting positive attention with his aggressive play during training camp against starters on the offensive line. He has been quick off the line and been able to make the best of his reps.
Now that Oliver has been paid, the production has to be there with the money that Oliver was given this past offseason. Utilizing his speed off the line, Oliver is able to create pressure and could potentially become the true pass rusher that he was drafted to be in 2019.
With Sean McDermott potentially set to call the plays for the defense, this should give Oliver a chance to become more aggressive than he has the past few seasons with the Bills. Depending on what the Bills will do schematically on defense, Oliver could be used in different ways. However, the one thing for sure is that he will need to prove that the contract extension he received was a good investment for the Bills’ future.
