4.) Dalvin Cook

The latest free agent signing for the Jets is coming off of his fourth consecutive 1,000 rushing yard season with the Minnesota Vikings. At 28 years old, Cook is still in his prime and can punish a defense if he breaks into the open field.

Last season when the Bills and the Vikings fought it out in the game of the year, Cook had 14 carries for 119 yards and one touchdown that helped put Minnesota back in the game and would help lead them to a comeback victory.

The Bills’ run defense has been the most inconsistent unit for many seasons and if Cook is able to make a big play to help set up the passing game, the Bills’ defense is in for a long game. Not to mention, there is still major uncertainty at the linebacker spot aside from Matt Milano.

Head coach Sean McDermott named Terrel Bernard the starting linebacker next to Milano which means Bernard will have to be able to read the Jets’ defense and if he is not able to help stop the run, Cook could easily cook the Bills’ defense.
