Terrel Bernard (9/10)

Bernard is another linebacker who fell victim to the Bills' injury bug, as he's looking to miss more time with a potential high-ankle sprain. Bernard had an impressive year as the play-caller for the defense, filling in big shoes for the previous Tremaine Edmunds.

Bernard led the team in tackles and caused many disruptive plays during the season, including in the game against the Steelers where he recorded some pressures, five tackles, and a pass deflection. Bernard established himself as a sure starter as the Bills' middle linebacker, which was a position of concern before the season started.

Bernard's absence will be noticed, as he's one of the better run-stoppers on the team, and stopping the run against Kansas City will be necessary if the Bills want to win on Sunday. So players like A.J. Klein and Dorian Williams have to fill in for Bernard and try to cause disruption.

Although it's unlikely Bernard will play in the game this Sunday, he isn't completely done for the season yet, as his injury wasn't as bad as expected. Fans, staff, and players initially thought Bernard tore his Achilles, but ended up being a high-ankle sprain, so if the Bills were to make a deeper playoff run, there's a good chance he will return.

The Bills have yet to defeat the Chiefs in the postseason, as they have a 0-2 record against them. The last time these two faced on a big stage, it was considered one of the greatest playoff games of all time while Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes delivered legendary performances. However, this game will be in Buffalo, and this will be Mahomes's first time playing a road playoff game, and it will be in front of Bills Mafia.
