Marist Liufau - Notre Dame

Marist Liufau is a 6'2", 239-pound linebacker out of Notre Dame. He logged over 200 snaps as in 2020; however, missed the 2021 season due to an ankle injury suffered during practice. In the following two seasons, 2022 and 2023, he played 1,241 snaps, recording 59 total when rushing the passer, Luifau produced 37 total pressures and six sacks when rushing the passer. Liufau possesses excellent coverage skills, which is something Coach McDermott covets in his linebackers.

Liufau earned an 84.3 draft grade from NFLDraftbuzz.com, ranking him as their seventh-best linebacker, and 82nd overall prospect. They have him with a reported 40-time of 4.58 seconds. He is projected as a third-rounder. Pro Football Focus graded him a 74.3, ranked him as their fifth-best linebacker, and 99th overall prospect.
