3.) Nate Hobbs
An under-the-radar player who has been a good contributor for the Raiders defense was all over the field against the Broncos. As a cornerback, Hobbs was not only the leader in tackles (including tackles for losses), but was also able to create pressure in the backfield and even recorded a QB hit on Russell Wilson.
The Raiders defense has always been shaky, but there are always one to two players that can make that one big play to keep the Raiders competitive. In addition, Hobbs was targeted three times and allowed two receptions but for only 13 yards.
Knowing that Hobbs is not afraid to create pressure in the pocket, as well as being able to play coverage down the field, Ken Dorsey and the Bills’ offense will have to figure out when to recognize when Hobbs makes the blitz as well as figure out his weaknesses in coverage. Hobbs could see action against Diggs the most on Sunday.
