3.) Dalton Kincaid shows flashes of potential

The rookie tight end saw more action against the Steelers than he did last week against the Colts. Kincaid was targeted four times and ended his game with three receptions for 45 yards.

While the stats don’t seem as flashy, his route running abilities were displayed and he looks like a potential Travis Kelce type of tight end in that aspect. The Steelers’ defense had linebackers play coverage on Kincaid which was a mistake as Kincaid was able to break free in the middle of the open field.

Even though his true potential has yet to be unlocked (which should come in the regular season), Bills fans were able to see a sneak preview of what Kincaid can bring to the offense. Another factor that Kincaid showed tonight was his reception after catch speed where he gained extra yardage.

With Dawson Knox not playing against the Steelers, Kincaid was able to step in as the number one tight end position. While the offense struggled overall, Kincaid was one of the bright shines of the unit.
