You have one of, if not the best center in the NFL going up against a defensive tackle that has been on fire this season after signing a contract extension that fans thought was probably a mistake. Jason Kelce has been the anchor of the Eagles’ offensive line for many years, while Ed Oliver has shown to be the premier interior guy upfront for Buffalo when he is out of the one-technique. However, that does not mean that Oliver won’t get into a battle with Kelce. The Eagles have had back-to-back 100+ rushing yard games and they may be looking to establish the run to allow A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith to get free in the secondary, a unit that has been banged up with injuries.

Oliver will need to set the tone and establish an interior pass rush and contain D’Andre Swift. Kelce is one of the most respected players across the league, and there will come a time when Kelce leads the way over Oliver. However, you cannot disregard the production that Oliver has produced, making a threat to the Eagles’ offense.
