The first quarter of the NFL season is officially over and the Buffalo Bills find themselves on a high note, rolling their way to a 3-1 record and beating down the Miami Dolphins for control of the AFC East.
As they go into the next phase of the NFL season, they will start not just on the road, but across the pond in London where they will meet the 2-2 Jacksonville Jaguars who picked up their second win in London in Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons. The last time the Bills and Jaguars faced off, Trevor Lawrence was a rookie and Urban Meyer picked up his last NFL win as a head coach, beating the Bills 9-6. Josh Allen was sacked 4 times and threw 2 interceptions.
However, the Jaguars are a different team then they were the last time Buffalo played them. Head coach Doug Pederson has turned Lawrence into what he was promised coming out of college, and they have Super Bowl aspirations after winning the AFC South last season.
The Bills also did play the Jaguars in 2015 where they lost to Jacksonville 34-31, so Buffalo will be looking to flip the script 8 years later.
