The 2023 schedule is officially here and while the Buffalo Bills have known their opponents for months, they now know in what order they will play them. When looking at the slate of opponents for the upcoming season there is no question they play a number of good teams but the league certainly did them some favors in terms of how they set up the schedule.

These are some initial takeaways from the 2023 schedule for the Buffalo Bills

Buffalo Bills do not have their bye week after their London game

The Buffalo Bills are heading over to London in Week 5 to play the Jacksonville Jaguars. In the past, the league has automatically scheduled the bye week for teams the following week after that game.

However, as Sal Capaccio with WGR550 tweeted, teams now have the choice to take their bye right after the international game. The ability to choose has certainly worked in the Bills' favor as they will not have their bye week early in the season but probably the perfect spot in Week 13, which is the second last week teams can have a bye.
