Bills' defense played with heart and won this game

Buffalo's defense struggled to start the game, giving up over 130 yards in the first quarter. The injuries and penalties piled up early, but they rose up and tried to take over the game. Unfortunately, with the offense being unable to take advantage, they ran out of gas late in the fourth. Rookies Kaiir Elam and Dorian Williams made plays. Ed Oliver was wrecking the Jaguars at the line of scrimmage and A.J. Epenesa delivered the game of his life.

Twice the Bills forced huge turnovers in the Jaguars red zone, keeping the Bills in the game. As a unit, they played out of their minds, making plays and shutting down Jaguars drives just when the team needed it the most. The Bills' depth showed up and will be an asset throughout this season, even though the team couldn't come away with the win, they showed a ton of heart out there today.
