It’s about that time, Buffalo Bills fans.
The 2023 NFL schedule is here, and Bills Mafia is ready to travel and travel well, as always.
For Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs and company, it all begins in Week 1 when Buffalo takes on the New York Jets on Monday Night Football.
Looking over the schedule as a whole, we see a handful of games the Bills are going to win, no matter what. Does Bills Mafia agree?
Buffalo Bills guaranteed win Number 1: Week 8 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (TNF)
Two years ago, the Bills and Bucs met in December in what would go down as one of the better games of the year. Tom Brady passed for 363 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Josh Allen went for over 300 yards and two scores, himself, but the Bills ended up falling in an overtime thriller, 33-27.
Now, the franchises are in two different spots. The Bills are still very much inching toward a Super Bowl, amongst the AFC’s elite. Meanwhile, the Bucs have to deal with life after Brady. That life begins with a quarterback battle between Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask; not much a of a life when you’re accustomed to the greatest quarterback to ever play the game.
In this game, the Bills will take advantage of a Bucs defense that isn’t as good as it was a couple of years ago. Allen will once again go for over 300 yards, except instead of Stefon Diggs being the star like he was two years ago, Allen is going to toss a pair of touchdowns to each of his tight ends. Both Dawson Knox and rookie Dalton Kincaid will come away with a score in this, and the Bills will also see a heavy dose of the run game, offensively.
When it’s all said and done, Buffalo will win this game 27-14, and it truly won’t matter who the quarterback is for Tampa Bay.
