Nick Scott

Jordan Fuller isn't the only former teammate of Taylor Rapp that is available as the Cincinnati Bengals released Nick Scott recently. He signed with the Bengals as a free agent last offseason but lost the starting job to rookie Jordan Battle last season. The Bengals would also sign Geno Stone and with Dax Hill and Battle still on the roster, there wasn't much room for Scott.

While Scott didn't have a great season with the Bengals, Scott played very well during the playoffs in 2021 in place of the injured Fuller. He would then start 16 games next to Rapp in 2022 and that was the first year as a full-time starter. Scott would have 86 total tackles, two interceptions, five passes defended and two forced fumbles.

After a down year in Cincinnati, the Buffalo Bills could end up with a bargain if they can sign Nick Scott to a one-year prove-it type deal.
