Darnell Savage

The last time the Buffalo Bills signed a Green Bay Packers defensive back as a free agent it worked out really well as that was Micah Hyde. The Bills also traded for Rasul Douglas this past season and that was another move that has worked out in the Bills favor.

Darnell Savage could be another player who would be a great addition to the secondary as he was a first round pick by the Packers in the 2019 NFL Draft and stepped in almost immediately as a starter. He would end up starting double digit games each of the five seasons in Green Bay.

During his time with the Packers, Savage has been good but not necessarily great. It could mean the Buffalo Bills can get a bargain for a former first round pick, especially when considering how deep the safety position is in free agency.
