Shaq Lawson

The next player is one that the Buffalo Bills know well in Shaq Lawson. He was the team's first round pick in 2016 and played four seasons in Buffalo before leaving in free agency. The last season with the Bills was the best of his career with 6.5 sacks and 18 QB hits primarily as a rotational player after playing in 15 games but having no starts that season.

Lawson would make stops with the Dolphins, Texans, and Jets before being brought back to Buffalo in 2022. He has played the last two seasons with the Bills and appeared in 31 games with seven starts and has 4.5 sacks and 16 QB hits.

The Buffalo Bills should try to bring Lawson back as he is a player with plenty of experience in this defense. He is not a player that should be expected to be a long-term starter but if injuries arise during the season, Lawson has proven he can do a good job for a few weeks.
