Xavien Howard

The Buffalo Bills should very familiar with Xavien Howard as he played the past eight seasons for the Miami Dolphins with 99 starts over that stretch. In two separate seasons he would lead the league in interceptions and for his career has 29 interceptions and 95 passes defended.

The Dolphins would release Howard this offseason to create needed cap space and at 30 years old he could be looking to make a final run at a Super Bowl title. Unlike Nelson and Gilmore, Howard has not had much playoff experience and in fact has only played in two playoff games in his career.

One concern with Howard that would need to be addressed for any team that signs him will be how he is doing with a foot injury that kept him out at the end of the season. According to Howard, he is completely recovered and cleared for football activities and if that is the case, the Bills should definitely be interested.
