Damar Hamlin

Damar Hamlin entered the offseason seemingly on the roster bubble after the changes the team made at safety. The Bills would bring in Cole Bishop after selecting him in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft and signing free agents Mike Edwards and Dee Delaney while bringing back Taylor Rapp on a new three-year deal.

At one point in his career, Hamlin was starting for the Bills after Micah Hyde's injury but after his own injury at the end of the 2022 season, he didn't play much last season. He was a healthy scratch for most of the year and appeared in only five games with no starts at safety.

However, Damar Hamlin has gotten off to a fast start this offseason, and seemingly every week the reports from media in attendance are Hamlin has been making plays. At this point, Hamlin is more likely on the 53-man roster than not but he will need to continue to play at this level to keep that spot.
