The Buffalo Bills are set to take the practice field this week for the final offseason workouts before training camp starts next month. After three weeks of voluntary OTAs, this week is mandatory minicamp, and should have the entire roster together for the first time this season.

While the season is still a few months away, this week is important for everyone involved as the coaches continue the process of building out the playbook and players are fighting to either keep their spot on the depth chart, move up the depth chart or in some cases just make an argument to keep their spot on the roster.

That is the case for these five players who are former draft picks of the Buffalo Bills.

Tylan Grable

The first player is one who was just drafted this year in offensive lineman Tylan Grable out of UCF. The Bills selected Grable in the sixth round and he is entering this offseason competing for one of those backup offensive lineman spots.

The challenge is that the position seems pretty well set with Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown as the starters along with La'el Collins and Ryan Van Demark as the backups. The Bills are unlikely to keep five offensive tackles so can Grable show versatility and play guard or surpass someone like Van Demark?

It is likely an uphill battle but if Grable can stand out this week, it will be a big help in the process.
