KJ Hamler
KJ Hamler was a second round pick by the Denver Broncos in the 2020 NFL Draft and got off to a fast start. As a rookie, he had 30 receptions on 56 targets for 381 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
However, injuries have derailed his career as he has played in only 10 games over the past three seasons with only 12 receptions, 239 receiving yards, and no touchdowns. He has not played in a regular season game since October 30th, 2022, and was released before the 2023 season. This past season, Hamler was on the Colts' practice squad but did not appear in any games.
The challenge is that the Bills already have so many options at wide receiver with Stefon Diggs, Curtis Samuels, and Khalil Shakir pretty much locks while Mack Hollins seems certain to make the roster. This leaves one or two more spots available and will be a competition that includes Hamler along with Justin Shorter and Andy Isabella.
If the Bills add any more players to the position between now and training camp, it will only push Hamler down the depth chart.
