The Buffalo Bills didn't have the cap space to make a big splash in free agency and instead were forced to try to find value where they could to address needs on their roster. This resulted in the team agreeing to a lot of one-year contracts.

This isn't necessarily a bad thing and the Bills have had some success as of late, like last year when they signed Leonard Floyd to a one-year deal. He would go on to lead the team in sacks and played himself into a bigger contract with the San Francisco 49ers that Buffalo couldn't match.

When looking at the Buffalo Bills roster, there are five players that fall into this category and could be one and done after this season.

Austin Johnson

The Buffalo Bills needed depth at defensive tackle and were able to address it by signing defensive tackle Austin Johnson. The Bills got some help from a current player in DaQuan Jones, who seemingly did a lot of recruiting to bring his former college teammate as well as being teammates on the Tennessee Titans.

Johnson is a veteran defensive tackle with 116 career games over eight seasons and recently started every game for the Chargers. For the Bills, he won't be a starter but should play plenty of snaps as the team rotates frequently at the position.

There is certainly a chance that the Bills bring back Johnson if he plays well and his connection with Jones. However, they probably will be looking for a long-term option as Johnson and Jones are getting older.
