2.) O’Cyrus Torrence - Offensive Line

The Bills’ second-round draft pick out of the University of Florida has been in the mix for the starting right guard position. The competition is between Torrence and Ryan Bates, who has been with the Bills since 2019, but Torrence may have the edge as he has lately been getting the start at right guard.

Although, there has been heavy rotation at that spot between the two guards. Torrence was a highly viewed offensive lineman from college, which includes not giving up a single sack in four collegiate seasons. That alone is already impressive enough and could very well benefit Josh Allen in pass protection.

Being a potential difference maker upfront, Torrence will still have to prove that he can be a starter by showing it during preseason. This is the one competition on the Bills that could very well wait until the week of the Jets game in week one. Watch for Torrence on the field in not just pass protection, but also in the run game.
