Dalton Kincaid

Entering the 2023 NFL Draft, the expectation was that the front office would try to put additional playmakers around Josh Allen. The thought was that it would be a wide receiver but with multiple being drafted before the Bills' pick the team decided to select tight end Dalton Kincaid.

This could end up being the best move for Buffalo as Kincaid has looked excellent during training camp and the preseason. It also allows Dorsey to be more versatile with his play calling because he can use more two-tight end sets but Kincaid is athletic enough to line up in the slot or outside to create mismatches, similar to what Cook to do.

There probably won't be much learning curve and I expect Kincaid to be a big part of the offense. The question will be how he handles being in the spotlight, on primetime in his first regular season game.
