5 Buffalo Bills to watch against the Kansas City Chiefs in AFC Divisional Round

While all eyes will be on Josh Allen, he is going to need help and that should start with the running backs and more notably James Cook. It has been an incredible season for Cook and one that culminated in his first Pro Bowl nomination.

The Buffalo Bills almost certainly will try to establish the run because it will eat up clock and more importantly keep Patrick Mahomes on the sideline. Earlier this season in the Bills win over the Chiefs, the Bills would only run in 28 times and 10 of those were by Allen.

James Cook would tie Allen in rushing attempts with 10 but averaged 5.8 yards per carry. The Buffalo Bills should be looking to get him close to 20 rushing attempts in this game but also remember he had his best game as a receiver with 83 receiving yards on five receptions and one touchdown.

Joe Brady should be looking to get Cook involved early and often in this game to establish the run but also try to hit some big plays through the air with the running back.
