Shane Ray
There is no question that training camp practices typically favor the offense as fans will find themselves cheering for touchdowns, even though those touchdowns are scored on their team's defense. However, there are a few defensive players that will impress fans with their play, and one in particular who may have a tough time even making the 53-man roster.
The depth the Buffalo Bills have at defensive end is really remarkable with players like Von Miller, Greg Rousseau and Leonard Floyd at the top of the depth chart. There is a second group that will be a factor during the season but not everyone will make the 53-man roster. This should be one of the more competitive training camp battles this summer for the Buffalo Bills.
One of those players that will be competing is former first round pick Shane Ray. He hasn't played in an NFL game since 2018 but the reason he may turn heads at training camp is he has excellent explosion and speed off the line.
Even with a strong training camp, Shane Ray probably is still a long-shot to make the 53-man roster but I fully expect him to make some exciting plays during practice at training camp.
